AFCAT 01 2021 Notification
Indian Air Force has released the notification for Indian citizens (Men and Women) to be a part of its elite force as A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty [Technical and Non-Technical] branches for courses commencing in July 2021. Indian Air Force conducts AFCAT 2020 examination which stands for Air Force Common Entrance Test for admission in elite Air Force Academy. Candidate who are willing to hitch Indian Air Force as a politician can now apply online for an equivalent.

AFCAT 2021 Selection Process
The online exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force. The selection process of AFCAT Exam comprises the following stages:
- AFCAT Written Exam is the only criteria for clearing first stage for the Non-Technical candidates; while AFCAT+ EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) for the Technical candidates
- Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview
- Medical Test
Indian Air Force will send call letters to all or any the candidates who clear the AFCAT/EKT 2020 to seem for the second stage of selection i.e AFSB Testing.
AFSB Testing Stage 1
It includes the following two tests:
1, Officer Intelligence Rating Test.
2, Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT)
Stage 1 is named screening test and candidates who don’t clear it’ll be rejected and can not be involved AFSB Testing Stage 2.
AFSB Testing Stage 2
All Stage 1 qualified candidates will need to appear for AFSB Stage 2 and undergo the subsequent tests:
Psychological Tests: These are the written psychological tests and are conducted by professional psychologists.
Group Tests: These tests involve mental and physical activities to look at the candidates’ on various mental and physical parameters.
AFSB Interview: during thisround, the interviewing officer takes a private round of interview for the candidate.
Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) Test: This test is mandatory for only those candidates who have applied for the Flying Branch.
Medical Examination
Recommended candidates are going to be involved the checkup . The Indian Airforce has prescribed only two centres for checkup which are Institute of aeromedicine , Bengaluru and Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME). After the checkup , a final merit list would be prepared on the idea of the marks scored by the candidate in written and AFSB Interview. All the shortlisted candidates would tend the joining letter of the respective training academies they need applied.

AFCAT Syllabus: EKT Syllabus
AFCAT EKT may be a 45 minute exam and is followed by AFCAT. Candidates are given half an hour window after which AFCAT EKT Exam takes place. the entire duration for AFCAT exam is 2 hours and therefore the mode of examination is online.
